I love jewelry. All of it. Earrings flatter the facial features. Necklaces dress up your outfit, and when used wisely, can give a plain outfit an instant makeover. Bracelets draw attention to prettily manicured hands. Everyone wears them. Now, that's where the problem lies.

Times have changed. The latest big thing in jewelry is the headpiece. Tiaras, worn as combs, or headpieces, that look like necklaces that are too small to go over the head are the next big thing in jewelry.

Nicole Richie has collaborated with Hollywood jeweller, Mouward, to design headpieces which she loves. A taste that came about from ED Hardy the tiaras her mom gave her. Though tiaras aren't commonplace, fashionisticas are taking to wearing headpieces. Being less common than necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, headpieces make a bigger impact on the onlookers.
