what a wonderful picture,it captures a love that will never dim or die.

I just want to say Johnny Cash was one of the most listened to musicians in my fathers home when we were little children growing up.. My Dad was so much like Johnny that it was scary at times now in a good way. My father could sang and did sang like Johnny all the time. We heard Johnny Morning, Noon & Night. As I grew older and my father rested all of his unwanted ways I grew to love the songs so much. My father never got to go see Johnny in concert but oh how I wish I could have taken him to see him just one time.. He loved and adored that man so much. I think it was becasue alot of the things that happen to Johnny in his life also happened to my father.
I now Have a little granddaughter that is 6 years old and she didn't know her Great Papa P , my father ( Howard) or Johnny Cash but she grew to listen and know that her Papa P. loved Johnny Cash songs. I played them and danced her to sleep to them and as she got older she sang those very songs. She now loves what she calls the # 1 song on my CD player in my jeep & That song is called... I walk the line. She loves that song. She plays it over and over and I have bought 3 CD's since her birth.

She would hold that next to her heart for the rest of her life. She has been singing his songs with her Daddy and he has been taping them. I can't wait to hear them.
I loved Johnny and June and now it is such a great Memory I have of my Dad to have his Johnny Cash records. What a happy Memory to have with my grandaughter also it just connects those special parts of our lives. I always think of how PROUD Papa P. ( Pellman) would be and wish I could see his face when she sing that # 1 song. What a join it would have been.
