To honor Johhny Cash is an awesome thing but it saddens me that he is not be honored by his peers. Dierks Bentley and the Band Perry are not his peers,. Merle Haggard, Hank Jr. and the likes, are his peers. It will be as fake as the recent honor to Willie Nelson by Tim and Faith McGraw/Hill, Lady Antebelum, Keith Urban and Blake Shelton. It saddens me that the country I knew is nowinundated by "Bling" country and the real country singers are now part of "Outlaw Country." Such a crock, I am from the original country era but I know there are a lot of young people out there who feel the same way. I will not watch this show for sure, the CMA and all the awards show have lost the special moments they used to have yearly. Now, there are rap singers, trashy "blondes in skin-tight clothes and the gist of country music is gone. More is the pity that this has happened, and shame on those who allow this farce.l
