The Best of Johnny Cash TV Show, a 2-DVD set from Columbia/Legacy, has achieved RIAA platinum certification within a few months of its release, a demonstration of the ongoing durability of the man and his music. The collection was certified both Gold and Platinum by the RIAA in recognition of sales exceeding 100,000 copies since the DVD's release on September 17, 2007. Future DVD volumes of “The Johnny Cash TV Show” are being prepared but no release dates are currently set.
